About Me
Hello, I’m Jenny.
I can understand how you are feeling right now, nervous, worried, anxious etc. as I have been in your position seeking a counsellor to help me when I was experiencing a difficult time in my life. Counselling changed my life and inspired me to become a counsellor in order to help others. I am here to walk with you on your journey to happiness and fulfilment. I believe that sessions should be led by the client, going at their pace with no pressure to rush or to talk about anything that they are not ready to discuss.
I know how scary it can be to take the first step and call, but please try not to worry. I am friendly, easy to talk to and have been in your position.
What you can expect from counselling and from me?
I am a fully qualified counsellor with 5 years experience. I offer a confidential counselling service, this means that I will keep everything you tell me between us. There are a few instances where I would need to break confidentiality, this is only when there is risk to life, this would be discussed diring the first session.
During the first session I will explain a little about how I work and what you can expect during our time together. You can use this sesison to ask any questions you may have about counselling or about me.

Details
Fees are £35 per session. Each session lasts for 50 minutes.
I also offer a few reduced fee sessions for students and those on a low income. Please contact me for further information.
I generally work face to face but can provide internet and telephone counselling, this can be useful if you find it difficult to physically get to the sessions or if you are housebound.
I offer flexible appointments during the day, evening and weekend.
