Bereavement Counselling

We all have our own ways of mourning. For some this can be crying and outwardly expressing themselves, while for others grief may manifest itself in other ways. For some the grieving process may last many months or even years, yet others are able to recover quicker. Emotions and feelings are prone to change constantly thoughout the course of a day, with some people finding these swings in mood frightening.

Counselling can be a helpful way of coming to terms with loss. Bereavement counsellors can offer support as you go through the grieving process.

Relationship Counselling

Just by talking with a relationship counsellor about your concerns in a safe and confidential environment can help you to improve the connections you have with other people, developing them to be more meaningful and less stressful.

Couples counselling is a long proven and beneficial therapy where both partners sit down with the aim of resolving their relationship problems, with the help and supervision of a non-biased therapist. This provides a healthy opportunity for both partners in a relationship to discuss their issues in a controlled manner, while the counsellor aids these discussions and helps to identify any problems within the relationship.

Anxiety Counselling

Counselling can help you to deal with anxiety by looking into the underlying causes and triggers – including those created by work, relationships and traumatic experiences – and work with you to develop more effective strategies for managing your anxiety.

Counselling can also help you to create a personal plan to develop a healthy change, and teach you simple techniques and tools that will help you to manage stressful situations which arise in the future.

As you progress with reducing your anxiety, regular counselling will help to keep you accountable to your goals, while providing emotional support and helping you to identify any potential barriers to self-improvement.
