I am passionate about helping people connect with their body, mind, and spirit in an enriching and fulfilling way. it was my passion for health and wellness that led me to explore the path of yoga and bodywork, so I could help others learn how to truly "be" in their bodies.

My love for sharing healing art of Thai yoga massage and Wùo Taï and my appreciation for the interconnectiveness of body, spirit and mind motivates me to continue developing my skills and explore new techniques.

ABOUT

My Practice

I believe in the the transformative power of yoga and believe that by practicing regularly, one's physical, mental and spiritual health is greatly enhanced. This has a powerful ripple effect which radiates throughout your actions and positively influences everyone around you. By working on a daily individualised yoga practice we can achieve a better connection with ourself. When this connection has been achieved, it helps us to take better care of ourselves in daily life and support our body's natural healing ability.

In addition, I strongly believe that bodywork such a Thai yoga massage and Wùo Taï can recalibrate the flow of energy through our body.

SERVICES

Bodywork
Thai yoga massage and Wùo Taï

Thai yoga massage is based on a holistic approach to health, acknowledging the interconnectedness of the entire body, in this therapy we combine making accupressure, applied yoga postures and gentle stretches starting with the feet and working through legs lines, stomach, side positions, back lines, seated postures, and finally with the head.

Wùo Taï or osteo danse is the poetic fusion of dance and osteopathy, where the receiver is invited on a journey of gestures done in an ecliptical flow, a combination of gestures from the past and present. Wuo Taï was born of the union of different disciplines from across continents and influenced by the East.

“You do not do Wuo Tai with force. You do Wuo Tai with your weight; the weight of your body, the weight of your life, including the mistakes and everything you do not know yet; because what you don’t know is always greater than what you do know.”

“There are three things needed to do Wuo Tai: you, the other and the universe”
Roland Combes

Both massages are performed on a padded floor mat. The receiver stays fully dressed and no oils or lotions are applied.

Prices

£75 for 60 min, £120 for 90 min and £150 for 120 min.

Pregnancy Thai massage

Pregnancy massage is based on Thai Yoga Massage with modifications to keep mother and baby safe. Massage positioning will primarily be side-lying. Light pressure will be used on low back, feet and legs. Special attention will be placed on relaxation and postural changes throughout the progression of your pregnancy.

Yoga Classes

The yoga classes are taught in the tradition of Krishnamacharya, where the study of yoga originated as a dialogue between the teacher and student. She honors that tradition by offering 1:2:1 and small group yoga classes. The 1:2:1 session allow the student to explore specific areas of interest, and classes are design to the student's needs. Every student is unique and this is acknowledged with careful individual assessment, which leads to an appropriately designed practice and is regularly reviewed.

Group classes on the other hand are purposefully kept small so that everyone can have a richer, more personalized experience of yoga. Many people find themselves lost in a large studio class, unsure if they are doing the right thing as they try to follow the yoga teacher, and unable to ask questions or get clarification throughout the class.

Group's classes in Colliers Wood are limited to 3 to 4, where yoga is much more accessible, and where she is able to personalise the class to the needs, level and interests of the group, as well as to assist and interact with students throughout the classes.

Carolina teaches people regardless of age, ability or state of health, and assist, motivate and support students throughout this process of transformation.
