About AFM Complementary Therapies
My name is Anne Frances Mansbridge and I have been practicing Complementary Therapies since I qualified in Reflexology in 1997. Over the following years I continued my studies to become qualified in other holistic therapies.
I practice from a private clinic in Hamilton, Scotland, providing a wide range of treatments to suit everyone. I also offer therapies in the workplace and have much experience in working both in the private and public sectors providing therapies in the workplace for staff.
As a member of the Complementary Therapists Association, I am fully qualified, carry the required Insurance and hold a first aid certificate, working to a strict code of ethics and client confidentiality.

Hot Stone TherapyDating back 5000 years, Stone Massage Therapy came from healers using rocks from the riverbeds and warming them in either hot coals or hot water. Massaging with the Stones gives a deeper penetration to muscle tissue and capillary blood pressure is increased thus aiding detoxification and stimulation of blood and lymph flow. It helps also to relieve pain and tension in the body and induces a wonderful state of deep relaxation.

By using a series of precise movements a gentle pressure is applied to the feet. As the whole body is represented in the feet, Reflexology does offer a means of treating the whole body. A tender area on the foot will detect imbalances in the body caused by illness or stress.

Thermo-Auricular Therapy (aka. Hopi Ear Candles)
