Welcome to Anne Harris Nutrition with Thought Field Therapy – .
My experience over the last 15 years, working with many patients, is that most nutrition related disorders (weight management, thyroid disorders etc.) are usually connected to FOOD and EMOTION. These are two powerful experiences that can influence weight loss/gain and nutritional wellbeing. If you can understand good nutrition and take control over your belief patterns in relation to food then you can take control of your life. I have helped many people achieve their desired weight goals and nutrition related illnesses and can help YOU completely change the way YOU think and feel about food. My PhD research explored reasons why people choose and eat the food they do, with a particular emphasis on culture and diet. This has given me the ability to transfer often-complicated information into practical tips that deliver real results for you. I have a unique blend of skills, with a Masters Degree in Human Nutrition that is scientifically evidence -based, combined with practical training in energy therapy, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and Tapping (Thought Field Therapy on acupuncture points) that collapses your negative emotions in relation to food. Many of YOUR nutrition related problems may be linked to stress that causes a negative emotion and exacerbates illness in your body. Thought Field Therapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming allows you to take more control over your food beliefs and emotions by changing your thoughts.

The combination of Mind and Body techniques that enables you to achieve weight loss is a unique way of overcoming your perspectives of food with a positive outcome. The weight loss programme has been designed especially for YOU if you are fed up of yo yo dieting or feeling deprived and hungry, or fed up of feeling guilty about what you eat, or simply you are just plain fed up of dieting. Through the consultations you will learn how to:

enjoy what you eat and still lose weight
have control of how you feel about how you look
eliminate food cravings
stop feeling guilty about what you eat
stay motivated without needing willpower
know what to eat to lose weight without being hungry - without following the
latest faddy diets.

Nutrition with a Difference – Dr Anne Harris has worked with many people with a passion to achieve physical and emotional health and well-being. She is a Research Doctor and has a wealth of informed learning in relation to food and emotions, as well as holding a Masters in Medical Science in Human Nutrition. She shares her unique skills and experience of food knowledge in order for you to take control of your life in whatever area you desire in. Discover her enlightened approach in how you can change your beliefs, understandings and emotions in order to empower your life to the direction you wish to take it.

All her courses are tailored to your personal needs and sessions can vary from just one consultation to multiple two-hourly sessions, it all depends on the individual.

She also offer a group session service to businesses and has worked with large employers such as Jaguar Land Rover and local government such as Coventry and Birmingham City Council to provide employees with training and advice in nutrition and emotional issues.

One To One

The one-to-one sessions are specifically designed for what you want for your life.

I share nutrition knowledge that is not only scientifically shaped but politically informed (the truth about the food industry). Some foods may be advertised as being healthy but may have a deleterious impact on your health. I take a coaching approach in order to guide/facilitate you to in effect ‘join up the dots’ from your subconscious and come to real personal conclusions.

My role as a coach therapist is that I am not emotionally attached so am able to ask poignant questions; query your motives and beliefs; look for patterns of behaviour; make challenging suggestions; or interrupt you if I want to break or change your existing train of thought.

Whether you want to re-evaluate your life; gain some direction; lose weight; make lifestyle changes; or need some external motivation then you may get all the help you need from a series of sessions. Most successful people have some kind of professional coaching to get them on the right track, and keep them there long after they have achieved their original goals.

The idea behind coaching is you already have all the answers – you just don’t know how to access them yet. In other words I will not tell you what to do or how to do it, but will facilitate and empower you to create your own conscious thought processes in order to get the ‘ha ha’ moment that reveals beliefs that have stopped you positively moving on in your life. Many people prefer the one-to-one approach but I am able to effectively work over the telephone or using Skype if you wish.


One Day Training Sessions for Businesses or Professionals

This exciting programme has been designed especially for small groups of 6- 8 people, whilst at the same time focusing on the individual and their personal desires. If you are tired of the latest faddy diet where you initially lose weight and then put it all back on; or feel frustrated with not being able to get into the clothes you love; feel confused about what is healthy; or feel guilty about what you eat.
