SERVICES

Welcome to Village Clinic

Village Clinic - the caring, family run clinic to help keep you on your feet. Sisters, Sally Albutt and Lucy Donnelly (Nee Cook) formed The Village Clinic in 2000 and the clinic now employs over 8 associates.

Our core services are Podiatry/Chiropody, Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries.

All of our staff are qualified to degree or equivalent standard, and are registered with the Government’s new “Health Professions Council” (previously known as State Registration). This is the minimum standard required for the NHS. Between us we have many years of experience, and each has a different speciality.

We also have a resident Reflexologist, Indian Head Masseur & an Health Professions Council registered Dietitian.

We strive to provide friendly, professional treatment and offer the most up to date treatments (following evidence based practice wherever possible)

By having an emphasis on self-management, we can often minimise the amount of treatment sessions you may require (and therefore lower the cost!).

Chiropody/Podiatry

Mother Nature gave us two sets of teeth but only one pair of feet!

Our Podiatry (chiropody) team aim to keep your feet working well for life. We try to achieve this by establishing and then addressing the core problem and offering you the advice to help yourself.

Physiotherapy services

Our physiotherapists strive to get you back to normal, as soon as possible - whether you are retired and can't manage the garden or a sports person who can't compete.

Fitness for Sports Clinic

At The Village Clinic, we run a sports clinic with a difference! This is due to our "Perfect Partnership" of Physiotherapy and Podiatry.

Many sports injuries have a biomechanical basis and respond well to the physiotherapist treating the injury and ensuring full function is regained. The podiatrist can then address any biomechanical problems, usually by prescribing bespoke orthotics.
