Shock

Shock can be experienced on both a physical and psychological level and can range from being something harmless like a surprise to a complete shutdown of the circulatory system which is potentially fatal. There are different classes of shock which can occur in the human body. Their common symptoms are feeling faint, weak or nauseous, cold with clammy skin, shallow breathing and experiencing a fast but weak pulse. Shock can cause difficulty in in breathing, watery eyes, anxiety and nausea. If someone is experiencing anaphylactic shock, an ambulance should be called to help administer relief treatment such as elevating the legs, loosening restrictive clothing, and applying blankets for warmth.
