Paget’s Disease

Paget’s disease is characterized by enlarged bones which are weak and frail due to accelerated turnover. The bones have increased blood supply and can cause pain, increased temperatures in affected areas, frail and easily broken bones and hearing loss. Paget’s Disease can be treated with medication, specific anti-inflammatories, surgery, gentle exercises and relaxation, hot/cold therapy, vitamin D supplements and calcium.
