Legionnaire’s disease is a type of pneumonia that is caused by the Legionella bacteria. Symptoms of Legionnaire’s disease include headache, muscle pain, feeling unwell, a high fever, nausea and/or vomiting, dry cough, chest pain, and difficulty breathing. Pneumonia develops in most cases. Treatment is through antibiotics.
