Cuts

Cuts are injuries to the skin that usually occur after trauma. Minor cuts can be easily treated at home while more severe cuts may require medical attention. The aim is for the cut to heal cleanly without infection. A tetanus shot may be required if the wound is deep or dirty. Treating the cut involves stopping the bleeding, cleaning the wound, using antibiotic creams, and covering and dressing the cut. Herbal remedies and homoeopathy may help to promote healing.
