Insomnia


Insomnia is characterised by an inability to either fall asleep or stay asleep throughout the night. It can be caused by stress, excess caffeine, recurring illness and pain. Insomnia can be treated with medication. Alternative therapies which are used to treat insomnia include Ayurveda, herbal medicine, relaxation techniques, acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yoga or Feng Shui.
